transport logistic is every two years the international leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management. Around 70,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries come to Munich. For exhibitors from freight forwarders, shipping companies, IT providers and intralogistics, it is the most important industry gathering of the year.
What many underestimate: the deals are rarely closed on the stand. The stand visit is the opening, the real conversation takes place in the evening. At the reception, at dinner, at the Bavarian evening. Anyone without their own format here loses their guests to the receptions of competitors.

From practice
An international logistics group wanted to bring together its 800 most important clients from around the world during the fair week, spread over several evenings. Reception at the venue with alphorns, followed by Bavarian folk dance and an Oktoberfest band, branded gingerbread hearts for every guest. In the CEO's welcome speech, every attending nation was greeted by name, crowned by the traditional contest of which nation cheers the loudest. The response: the most emotional moment of the whole fair week.

The range is wide. A reception or Bavarian evening for several hundred guests sits, depending on scope, in the mid five- to six-figure range. A client dinner at a top venue for a select group lands in the five-figure range. A staged VIP evening can reach six figures. We plan from 100 guests upwards, calculate transparently and give a serious orientation in the initial call.

Behind Plan & Tat Events is me, Johanna Straube. I learned the event industry from the ground up, from 5-star superior hotels to deputy event manager with events for up to 3,000 people. During the fair week I am on site in Munich myself with an experienced team.
