Business Events · Greater Munich Area · 100 to 2,000+ Guests
Corporate celebrations, product launches, in-house trade fairs, galas and conferences for 100 to 2,000+ guests. Tailored to your specific objectives, planned with a clear aim in mind and delivered in person on site.
The Name Says It All
Every event begins with a written set of objectives. The action plan, schedule, budget and responsibilities: all carefully considered and documented before a single booking is made.
On the day, we're on site ourselves. We deliver only concepts we execute ourselves. Every event is run in person, led by the very person who planned it.
A doer.
Not a PowerPoint event planner.
Why Plan & Tat
Trained and educated in hotel and hospitality management, with experience in the five-star-superior segment. Coming from that world means hospitality, service and quality aren't add-ons — they're the standard.
A deep network of venues, caterers, technical crews and service partners across the greater Munich area. While others are still searching, we already know who'll pick up the phone.
Book Plan & Tat and you get one accountable point of contact from the first idea through to the day of the event. Someone who keeps every thread in hand, knows every decision and stands behind the result. I coordinate everything personally.
The Real Problem
Not because they're badly organised. But because the objective was never clearly defined before planning began, or got lost somewhere between the budget spreadsheet and the confetti.
The event looked great, but no one can say what it actually achieved.
The venue was impressive; the purpose of the event stayed unclear.
The run of show was solid. Whether it landed with guests was down to luck.
Three agencies. Four points of contact. One message that reached no one.
“An event isn't an end in itself. It's a tool — and like any tool, it's only useful if you know what you're using it for.”
— Johanna Straube
The Method
A clearly structured process rather than a standard package, from the first idea right through to the day of the event on site.
Discovery call + goal-setting workshop
Before the event is planned, we clarify together: what is this event meant to achieve? What is the message? What impact do we want to have on which guests? The result is a written set of objectives — the benchmark for every decision that follows.
Around 3 to 4 weeks, depending on how quickly we resolve open questions together
The concept grows out of the objective: dramaturgy, content flow, guest experience, key moments. Only now do we decide on format, venue type and programme structure. You receive a concept paper you can use to present your project convincingly inside your organisation.
From venue scouting to detailed planning
Now it's time to make the selections: venue, catering, technical production, programme, speakers, service — always aligned to the concept. Our Munich network keeps negotiations short and quality dependable.
Throughout the entire process, from the first quote to the final invoice
We calculate transparently, with regular status updates and early alignment should anything change. The approved budget is kept, with no surprises at the end.
On site, on the day of the event
On the day of the event, we're on site with a well-drilled team. We take charge of the proceedings, keep the concept running smoothly and make decisions in real time. As the host, you're free to focus on your guests while we take care of every organisational detail.
Occasions
Plan & Tat specialises in large-scale business events for 100 to 2,000+ guests. Six distinct fields where experience really counts.
Anniversaries, summer and Christmas parties, employee events — designed as an investment in corporate culture and staff loyalty rather than a box to tick.

Testimonials
We had a goal, not a concept. Johanna turned that goal into a concept and that concept into an evening our clients are still talking about twelve months later.

What convinced us wasn't the event idea. It was the question she asked first: what should be different afterwards compared to before? That clarity ran through every decision.

Three weeks before the launch, a key supplier dropped out. Within 48 hours a replacement was in place, offering better quality at no extra cost. That's exactly what you pay the Munich network for.

Personal
“I don't just plan events, I oversee them with passion, right down to the smallest detail. For me, event management means organising, improvising, finding solutions and still managing to laugh even when things get complicated.”
— Johanna Straube
About me
Host by profession.
Event planner by passion.
I learned the event industry from the ground up, and that is precisely my greatest strength today. I started as an apprentice at a five-star-superior hotel, later worked as an event server and event assistant, then became deputy event manager, where I planned, led and delivered events for up to 3,000 guests. I also earned a degree in sports and event management. My expertise comes from practice, not from a textbook.
This background shapes everything I do at Plan & Tat. For me, quality isn't an ingredient you add at the end, it's the fundamental mindset from the very first minute. Hospitality, attention to detail, service and high standards: for me these are lived craft, not theory. I know what an event looks like from the perspective of the guests, the service team and the planners, because I've held all three roles myself.
Today I plan and oversee business events in the greater Munich area, guided by the principle that it's better to do a few projects exceptionally well than many only halfway.
And yes: I love to laugh, even when things get complicated. Working with me shouldn't just result in an outstanding event, it should also be fun.
Frequently Asked Questions
Since every event is designed individually, there are no flat rates. In the discovery call we clarify the nature of the event, its objectives and its scale. This results in a first, non-binding quote that we discuss together. The discovery call itself is free of charge. Once you approve a budget, we stick to it. Budget discipline is part of our craft.
Rule of thumb: three to six months ahead of the event date is ideal. Once the idea is born, we can start talking. Shorter-notice requests are possible if our capacity allows. Feel free to contact us directly.
We plan business events for 100 to 2,000+ guests. Our focus is on large-scale formats, starting at several hundred guests. We also plan smaller gatherings, such as stakeholder dinners, for existing clients on request.
Our focus is on the greater Munich area, where our network is densest and quality most reliable. For existing clients we also plan beyond it, such as kick-offs, off-sites or incentive trips.
No. Plan & Tat specialises in business events: corporate celebrations, product launches, in-house trade fairs, galas, conferences and symposia. Survival training, adventure courses or weddings are not part of our services. If your conference has a team-building objective, however — talks, motivation, knowledge transfer — we're the right partner for you.
Yes. If your company is present around a trade fair in Munich, we take care of the entire package: client dinners, stand receptions, hotel reservations and transfer logistics. One point of contact for everything that moves around the event.
At Plan & Tat we don't start with a list of packages, we start with real consultation. Before we discuss format, venue or budget, we work with you to clarify your objective: what impact should the event have on your guests? The concept grows out of that strategic groundwork. You also get one dedicated point of contact from the first conversation through to event day, when we're on site in person as well. That combination of consulting and hands-on delivery from a single source is what sets us apart from a traditional event agency.
